Prince Harry wants the travel industry to "reset and reimagine" how it operates after COVID-19, believing that this pandemic is an opportunity to "do things differently."

The Duke of Sussex said in the Travalyst annual report that to never travel again is not an option. However, Prince Harry also believes that the tourism industry has to make changes to its impact on the environment better.

Harry launched Travalyst in late 2019 with the initiative to make the industry sustainable. However, with travel down since early 2020 due to the pandemic, Harry's initiative hasn't had a significant impact just yet.

But the call is similar to his father, Prince Charles, who challenged big businesses to adopt sustainable practices to boost the economy without damaging the environment. Speaking with The Guardian, the Prince of Wales said that the pandemic crisis is a "golden opportunity for a reset." The future King also laid out plans to speed up a green economy that will balance big business practices with a sustainable agenda.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is reported to be "very invested" in becoming an American and might consider changing his citizenship when the right time comes.

Royal commentators Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito explored Prince Harry's interest in becoming an American in the podcast series Royally Obsessed. Bowie recalled that the Duke of Sussex's mother, Princess Diana, had planned the same thing during her separation from Prince Charles. The commentators can't help but say that Harry could be following in his mother's lead when she set out to move to New York in the early '90s.

Bowies said that Harry is so into American politics, culture, and even values. On the other hand, Fiorito believes that his interest wasn't out of the ordinary since he might have grown up watching the "strong relationship" between the United States and the United Kingdom.

But for Harry to become a U.S. citizen, he would have to renounce his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. Last year, sources told The Times that Harry has not even made an application for dual citizenship. The source believes that the Duke of Sussex will not apply for a green card if it means giving up his British identity.

The Queen's grandson is expected to travel back to the U.K. with Meghan Markle and Archie in June when the royal family celebrates two big events. The U.K. is anticipating the 100th birthday of Prince Philip and the return of the Trooping the Colour, the Queen's birthday parade, if the government doesn't change the public health guidelines about mass gatherings once again.

Harry hasn't flown back home since he and Meghan moved to California in March 2020. The Duke of Sussex said he would have been in London a lot earlier if not for the travel restrictions due to the current public health crisis.
