Yellowstone season 4 is going to address a lot of storylines once it premieres on Paramount Network. The third installment ended with some questions, leaving the fate of certain characters hanging up in the air. But, perhaps, the biggest mystery here is who will be the latest Big Bad in the next chapter.

There are several candidates as to who's going to be the major adversary in Yellowstone season 4 -- and some of them might already be existing within the world. Jamie Dutton (Wes Bently) is one of the people on the list, mostly because of what happened to him in the season 3 finale.

Unlike his father John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and siblings Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) and Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), Jamie wasn't attacked by some unknown people. This leads to speculations that he's behind what happened to them or he coordinated with others -- like Roarke Morris (Josh Holloway).

Jamie has dealt with a lot of revelations in the third season. He found out that John wasn't his biological father, which could complicate things moving forward. This may have prompted him to go on a different path to be powerful. He likely wanted to get revenge and get the Duttons out of his way.

Aside from Jamie being the potential Big Bad in Yellowstone season 4, there is also a chance that someone from the past shows up. For instance, Malcolm Beck (Neal McDonough) may emerge and will be revealed that he's still alive.

The character was last seen in season 2, where he seemingly met his demise. However, there is no clear evidence that he is, indeed, dead. He possibly survived what happened to him, and he now orchestrated the attacks on John, Kayce, and Beth.

When Yellowstone season 4 premieres, one of the first things that will be addressed is what the future holds for the three Duttons. It's apparent that they're all in danger, especially John since he was seemingly shot. The latest installment may kick off with the patriarch fighting for his life.

Meanwhile, the new season officially wrapped up filming. The series didn't encounter a lot of filming setbacks despite the COVID-19 pandemic. But then, there could be a few changes on how the stories will be presented in order to comply with the health guidelines and protocols.

Yellowstone season 4 is expected to premiere in late 2021.
