Nearly six years have passed since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner separated for good. But, despite the split, they maintained a good friendship over the years. Sources even recently claimed that the Peppermint actress is "supportive" of her former husband following his break-up with Ana de Armas.

Nicki Swift released a report about the matter, covering what the insiders had to say. As suggested, the Batman star's friends, alongside his former wife, have been sharing their support and care toward him. Some of them even, reportedly, thought that his relationship to de Armas "was not working for either of them anymore."

Amid all the drama, though, sources maintained that Affleck is "doing great" these days. They added that he is "happy and healthy," and has since placed his focus on himself and his kids, according to Entertainment Tonight.

It remains unclear, however, why Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas ended their romantic links. The former couple has yet to break their silence and reveal the reason behind their split. Even so, the same sources continued that the Deep Water stars are still texting "regularly," adding that no one knows "what the future will hold for them."

A different insider, also, previously asserted that Affleck and de Armas' split was a "mutual decision." They allegedly realized that their romantic ties were "not working the way they both wanted it to anymore." In the end, though, the former pair still has "a lot of love and respect for each other."

The break-up news first emerged earlier in January. Us Weekly reported that it was Ana de Armas who called things off between her and Ben Affleck.

The informants, who claimed to have knowledge about the split, explained then that the two celebrities were "moving in different directions," noting that they, also, "stopped seeing eye to eye."

As the public would recall, Affleck and de Armas first sparked dating rumors amid the filming of their upcoming movie project, Deep Water, earlier in 2020. The speculations further strengthened its angles after witnesses spotted them vacationing in Cuba. Later in March, several publications confirmed that they were "officially dating."

Amid all the reports, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck seemingly continued with their friendship. Some sources stated that the 13 Going 30 actress felt "happy" about her former husband's then-new flame. Moreover, their three kids seemingly liked Ana de Armas. Hence, "life is good" for everyone as there was no drama.
