Fans last saw the latest chapter of the series on November 26, 2018. Since then, there were no new updates about the next installment.
According to Spoiler Guy, the much-awaited chapter has skipped a total of 102 issues, and none of it gives any details about its return. Anyhow, this is not the first time that the manga took a long break like this.
In 2006, it also skipped 79 issues because of its constant delays. The hiatus started piling up, which resulted in the manga's downfall, removing its recognition as one of the most famous manga series.
In 2014, it went to another long hiatus, skipping 81 issues. Now, fans are offering their prayers to Togashi so that he will feel better soon and start working on Hunter X Hunter Chapter 391.
Stanford Arts Review noted the mangaka is suffering from major health problems and has been on a break for a long while to recover. He, reportedly, has lumbago, which causes him to feel pain in the muscles and joints of the lower back.
In his tweet from two years ago, he said he was already done with the next ten chapters. If this was true, then Chapters 391 to 400 were ready for release, though nothing had come to fruition yet.
So, what will happen in Hunter x Hunter Chapter 391? Fans find it more difficult to wait for this chapter as it will continue the second part of Chapter 390's story.
It is set to feature what will happen next after Hinrigh now holds the intel from some Heil-Ly family members, per EconoTimes. They aim to put Moreno down, but they can only do that if they manage to stay in deck three without being noticed by the enemies.
Chapter 390 may be called "Clash: Part 1," but the real "clash" is yet to happen and may only occur in Chapter 391. If this rings true, it only means the enemies may have found Hinrigh and his pals, which will result in a major fight.
