Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) will have a surprise visitor in Blue Bloods season 11 episode 7. His childhood friend showed up unexpectedly and claimed she has solved a cold case murder. However, this may have caused a lot of complications in his job, as well as in the department.

In the promo of Blue Bloods season 11 episode 7, Jamie's childhood friend visited him and told him that she's running a successful true-crime podcast titled "Murder In Manhattan." She is convinced that she solved a series of murders across the city and knows who's responsible for the killings.

While this woman may have credible evidence, the person she's claiming to be the killer doesn't have prior arrest related to the case. This is something that Jamie has to carefully think about. He needs to make a further investigation before coming up to an official conclusion.

Blue Bloods season 11 episode 7 sees Jamie gathering all the important facts. He needs to find out how his childhood friend obtained the evidence she has and how legitimate these could be. Since this woman runs a podcast, a lot of people know these murder cases.

In fact, the Reagan family talked about this particular subject during their family-dinner conversation. Henry (Len Cariou) is a fan of the podcast and he looks delighted that they're discussing it. The family could give Jamie advice on how he could handle this matter.

Elsewhere in Blue Bloods season 11 episode 7, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) witnessed a drive-by shooting. Later on, he clashed with a detective assigned to the case. This is going to be a tough situation for him as he encounters a person who seemingly doesn't listen to almost anyone.

It would be hard for Danny to be involved in this matter since he's not the detective assigned to the case. Even if he witnessed what happened, there's a possibility that he might not be heard. He could get himself in trouble if he becomes too involved in it.

Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), on the other hand, will have a problem of his own. He is struggling to trust an ex-detective, who's holding information about a suspected crime ring. While this could help him take down illegal activities, he's hesitant whether the information he's holding is legitimate or not.

Blue Bloods season 11 episode 7 is titled "In Too Deep" and it is set to air on Friday, Feb. 12, on CBS.
