Fans have another isekai anime to watch out for. The Dungeon of Black Company anime is about to hit the small screen after its official website dropped its cast, staff, visual, release date, and more.
Written and illustrated by Youhei Yasumura, The Dungeon of Black Company manga has been receiving praise for its unique twist. It's a comedy fantasy that will introduce fans to Kinji Ninomiya, who will get to experience what it's like to work hard.
In a tweet, Yasumura revealed the animation information of his newly-anime-adapted. He also invited fans to watch it "by all means."
According to Epic Dope, the anime will tell the story of Kinji, a guy who never does things well and lacks work ethics. He has been living the most comfortable modern life until his world turns upside down after being sent to another planet.

Here, he has to work hard and do a mining job. Trapped in a place where he can't leave, Kinji will have no choice but to work hard for the first time in his life in The Dungeon of Black Company.
By the looks of it, this anime will never be the standard story about the lead star going to a fantasy land and becoming a hero. In fact, there's no way Kinji will become a hero in this tale.
Instead, it will show the real hardships of starting a new life in an unknown world. Despite being new to this, Kinji will somehow manage to overcome these hurdles as he undergoes significant life changes.
In another tweet by the anime's official Twitter account, it dropped The Dungeon of Black Company's official teaser visual. It shows the lead stars Kinji, Rim, and Wanibe, specially illustrated by Yasumura himself.
Anime News Network noted Katsuyuki Konishi would voice the character of Kinji, while Misaki Kuno will play as Rim and Hiro Shimono as Wanibe. Mirai Minato will direct the series at Silver Link, Deko Akao will pen the scripts, and Yuki Sawairi will handle the character designs.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes Yasumura's manga in English, per AniTrendz. It first launched on Manga Garden's Mag Comi website in December 2016, and it published its sixth compiled volume in July last year.
The manga had entered its climax on its 30th chapter on June 5, though Yasumuru confirmed it's not finished yet. The Dungeon of Black Company will drop in July this year, though Yasumuru is yet to reveal its exact release date.
