BTS fans can start screaming at this very moment as the group is about to perform live. ARMY will see their favorite OT7 taking the center stage of MTV Unplugged, officially titled MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS.
MTV announced the good news on Twitter, saying the group will be on the network's stage for "one dynamite night." So, by the looks of it, the ARMY can now start preparing their hearts to see BTS on the small screen.
MTV Unplugged has been known for featuring the best performers in the music scene to perform the acoustic rendition of some of their best songs. According to Pink Villa, this will be the first time fans are about to see the septet performing live this year.
RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will be seen in their full flamboyant glory, wearing their most fashionable outfits. They will don color-coordinated suits of brown, ocher, white, and grey.
Of course, fans are about to catch sigh of their sleek hairdos, and they should watch out for Jungkook's blonde undercut. Talking about the set, viewers can expect it to be done tastefully, just like how BTS's stages look like when performing.
They will also be along with their live band, Ghost. Here, they will be singing their never-before-heard acoustic versions of their hit songs from the album BE. This includes "Dynamite," "Life Goes On," and more, along with their past number one songs.
HelloKPop added the MTV Unplugged episode of BTS would be set in Seoul due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Anyhow, ARMIES around the world will still have the chance to see it when it drops on Tuesday, February 23, at 9 p.m. ET.
It will be out in different parts of the globe on Wednesday, February 24, per Bandwagon. It can be seen on MTV UK at 7 p.m. GMT, MTV Asia at 11 a.m. PHT/SGT, and MTV Japan at 10 a.m. KST/JST.
It will also be released on MTV France at 8:50 p.m. CET, MTV Spain at 3 a.m. CET, and MTV Australia at 1 p.m. AEDT. The show will be on replay on Saturday, February 27, at 9 p.m. JST/KST.
To recall, BTS made huge music history by debuting its first-ever English single, "Dynamite," on the 2020 Video Music Awards stage. They were also the first Asian band that won the VMA for Best Pop.
Besides their live performance, fans also have to wait for the upcoming BS (Essential Edition) on Friday, February 19. As early as now, the ARMY can now start pre-ordering here.
