International artists' collaborations with BLACKPINK have continued to reach massive successes these past few years. Every joint project that the four K-Pop stars did in the past has amassed a huge following and anticipation from the public.

It did not come as a surprise, though, considering how popular and successful the all-female South Korean group has become today. Moreover, the celebrities that they got to work with are, also, household names across the globe.

While no new confirmations have emerged about the group's next collaboration project, talks about making music together with SZA have become apparent in recent weeks. Koreaboo said that it all started when Rosé played one of SZA's songs in her birthday live video.

Earlier this month, BLACKPINK's lead vocalist celebrated her 24th birthday with her fans all over the globe. She made a live broadcast on February 11 to thank BLINKs for their gifts and greetings.

Amid the engagement, Rosé was listening to her playlist in the background. Netizens who were watching quickly noticed that the K-Pop star included the acoustic version of SZA's "Good Days" on her tracklist.

Upon learning about what happened, the Ctrl artist took her excitement to social media and greeted the BLACKPINK member a happy birthday. She posted a story on Instagram, featuring a screenshot of Rosé during her VLIVE broadcast.

Apart from greeting the South Korean singer, SZA, also, stated that she was just talking about a collaboration with the four K-Pop stars earlier that day. This, then, sparked several discussions and speculations that they might all go for a joint project soon.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, SZA revealed how surprised she was when she saw Rosé playing her song in the background. She said that it was a realization for her that the girls are, also, fans of hers.

MEA World Wide reported, later on, that the "Hit Different" singer expressed some interest in working with BLACKPINK. However, it remains unclear if this will happen in the next few months or years.

SZA uncovered, though, how "amazed" she was when her fans and BLINKs started working with each other. She said that the South Korean stars' fandom "randomly, voluntarily linked" with her fans to do things together.

Despite the lack of confirmation on both parties, several netizens have since shared their excitement for SZA and BLACKPINK's potential collaboration. Reports said that many of them took their thoughts to social media and talked about how much they would like for the female artists to work together.

The all-female K-Pop group previously worked with Selena Gomez on "Ice Cream." Months prior, they, also, collaborated with Lady Gaga for "Sour Candy." Some of the other artists that they got to work with include Dua Lipa for "Kiss and Make Up" and Cardi B for "Bet You Wanna."
