The members of BLACKPINK appear to have taken more solo projects this year. Alongside their collective acts, following the massively successful The Show, the four K-pop celebrities seemingly plan to focus more on their respective careers.

Earlier this week, Rosé hinted at one of her future movements, which resonates with Jennie's recent activities. She will likely follow the "SOLO" singer's footsteps and launch her own YouTube channel, according to Soompi.

The talks about the matter came after her virtual engagement with her fans via Naver V Live broadcast. Through the platform, she marked her 24th birthday to communicate with the fandom and thank everyone for the support.

Amid the interaction, one of the fans asked the BLACKPINK member whether she has any plans on embarking on a journey with YouTube. Rosé quickly responded that she has a "feeling" about starting her own channel after the release of her solo debut album.

The K-pop star continued that her statements were "refreshingly straightforward spoilers." She, then, rhetorically asked her viewers whether it was a "pretty good" move, considering that she immediately gave her answers out.

The speculations about her launching a YouTube channel came after Jennie created her own earlier in January. Mashable India reported that she debuted the medium on her 25th birthday. Using Mandy Moore's "When Will My Life Begin," an original track from Disney's Tangled, as a background, she shared an introductory video.

Jennie became the first member of BLACKPINK to launch her own channel on the platform. It was a success because she quickly amassed over 1.5 million subscribers in less than 24 hours. At the time of writing, the channel has more than 5.6 million subscribers.

While Rosé has already uncovered her plans with YouTube, it remains unclear when this will exactly happen. She noted, though, that it will likely push through after releasing her solo debut album.

She The People previously reported that her first solo track collection will be out in March. The BLACKPINK main vocalist has, also, released several teaser materials to ramp up the anticipation toward the album.

Apart from the teaser posters and clips, Rosé sang one of the featured tracks, as well, during the group's recent virtual concert, The Show. She performed "Gone," which has since captivated many fans and followers across the globe.

These days, no word has been heard yet as to what BLACKPINK plans to do as a group in terms of their career in the music industry. But, reports said that the members are doing several projects on their own.
