Valve and DOTA surprised the entire community of DOTA players upon announcing their venture toward the world of anime. Earlier this week, they announced and teased the arrival of their first-ever animated series, DOTA: Dragon's Blood.

In the official statement, the label said that they will drop new details about the upcoming material in the next few weeks. On Saturday, Netflix dropped the official trailer for the show, causing the hype to further build up among fans.

Comic Book recently released a report covering the latest updates about the anime series. It, also, accompanied its piece with a copy of the nearly 2-minute trailer, featuring some of the DOTA heroes that completed the line-up for its first animated show.

As avid fans would recall, several reports previously noted that DOTA: Dragon's Blood will arrive on March 25. It will house a total of eight episodes, with each running for 30 minutes.

Netflix, also, dropped the official synopsis of the upcoming series. As revealed, the first eight installments will revolve around the story of Davion, who is a renowned Dragon Knight and "devoted to wiping the scourge from the face of the world."

Apart from DK, the trailer teased that Mirana, Luna, Invoker, and the Undying will join the roster, as well. Many individuals expect that more DOTA heroes will arrive in the middle of the course of the series.

The Verge, also, released a similar report detailing the technical aspects of DOTA: Dragon's Blood. It reiterated that Ashley Edward Miller is serving as the showrunner of the first DOTA-based animated series.

The famous co-writer for X-Men: First Class and Thor previously teased the cast members on social media. He revealed that several popular voice actors joined the production.

These personalities include Troy Baker, Yuri Lowenthal, Kari Wahlgren, and Alix Wilton Regan. Many television actors participated, as well, like Tony Todd, Lara Pulver, Freya Tingley, and Anson Mount.

Miller, later on, applauded the cast members for their "phenomenal" acting on DOTA. He, then, reminded that more details will arrive soon as the series nears its official release on Netflix.

Following the release of DOTA: Dragon's Blood's full-length trailer, many netizens, especially DOTA fans, expressed their excitement on social media. In the comment section of DOTA 2's official Twitter account, several individuals showed their support and adoration for the label's new venture.

The series is "literally everything I've wanted from DOTA," one fan said, adding that the material will be "insane." Another stated that it is going to be "godlike."
