AllKpop recently released a report, noting what the former 2NE1 member had to say about the controversy. As stated, the 36-year-old South Korean celebrity told her audience to stop contacting the people within her circles.
In the latest episode of Video Star, Sandara Park made an appearance and shared her thoughts on various things. These included her revelations about her health.
She informed the audience that she is aware of the rumors about her being "sick." But, to end all the speculations, she assured everyone that she is "healthy," adding that there are no issues with her thyroid.
Dara continued that she has "bigger neck muscles than other people." Before ending her statements, though, she discouraged the public from "calling the producer" and asked them to "stop sending messages" to her family and acquaintances.
Kpop Starz previously released a report about the matter, explaining the entirety of the issue. As reported, Sandara Park sparked rumors when she appeared in an episode of Video Star earlier in January.
Many seemingly noticed that her neck appeared much bigger than usual. This, then, caused many fans to worry whether she has hypothyroidism.
Despite assuring fans that she is well and healthy earlier in February, this did not appear to have stopped many people from worrying about her. However, this did not prevent the rumors, as well, from developing.
This explains why she had to clarify the matters, once again, on-air, regarding her health. Many netizens, later on, agreed that the public should stop barging in on her privacy, especially if she had already assured her fans that there is nothing to worry about in terms of her health.
Apart from the rumors about her health, Sandara Park, also, faced several talks about her relationship with G-Dragon these past few days. Korea Portal reported that the "Daragon" fans trended on various platforms after the reports about the BIGBANG member's relationship with Jennie of BLACKPINK went public.
The publication said that this "saddened" many Daragon fans because, even after all these years, the avid shippers are still hoping for the two K-Pop legends to pursue a romantic relationship. Reports noted, however, that G-Dragon's romantic ties with Jennie remain to be a rumor as the pair has yet to release a statement.
