ITZY has now become one of the fastest rising K-Pop groups. The five-member band debuted in 2019, with their first single "DALLA DALLA." Since then, fans across the globe continue to follow them and their lives as rookies in the world of South Korean entertainment.
While information about the group members remains scarce, the public is now starting to get to know them as they have begun to reach out to their audience. Earlier last week, they launched the first episode of their own variety show, ITz PLAYTIME, wherein the five girls sat down for a lie-detector test.
Koreaboo reported that Yeji revealed a shocking thing about Ryujin while answering one of the questions. She shared her experience about being roommates with the ITZY leader and rapper.
One of the interrogators, Tae Oh, playfully asked Yeji whether it is "hard" to stay in one room with Ryujin. The 20-year-old K-Pop singer did not hesitate to reveal that it is "tough" to be roommates with the group leader.
Before explaining her answer, Ryujin jumped in to sway Yeji into giving a different response. She said that it is all "false," adding that the latter loves being with her.
Yeji, then, quickly made a surprising answer, stating that Ryujin is "messy." This caused the rest of the girls to burst into laughter, while the ITZY leader was smiling and seemingly waiting to drop a comeback.
The singer noted, however, that this does not happen all the time. But, Ryujin quipped that Yeji is "not that clean, too," making everyone laugh harder than before.
The brief exchange during the recent ITz PLAYTIME episode appeared to have manifested how close the ITZY members are. The publication even said that Ryujin and Yeji seemed to be a perfect match as roommates because they are both messy.
The two K-Pop idols have been staying in one room for more than two years now. Soompi previously reported that the five members once shared with their fans how they all came up with the room arrangements.
As stated, they used the "ghost leg" game when they were planning their living arrangements in their dorm. The outlet said that it is a popular method that has been utilized for creating random pairs in a group.
Since then, they followed the pairing system that the game gave to them. But, considering that they are an odd-numbered group, one of them has to have her own room. Chaeryeong turned out to be this person, as Lia and Yuna became a pair after utilizing the ghost leg game.
