The Shaman King reboot will not only take fans to the world of humans with bizarre powers again but to a much better animation and improved looks. This rings true as the anime series drops a new trailer, giving everyone a glimpse of Asakura Yoh's return.

Netflix teases the anime's arrival on its list of anime series, though it is yet to announce its official release date. It introduces the new world fans are about to see in the Shaman King reboot, where people can grow power that can be as godly.

The preview shows the series' major characters in their full glory with high color contrast that will up fans' expectations. It also gives a preview of the anime's new opening theme, called "Soul Salvation," by Megumi Hayashibara.

She will also sing its ending theme, titled "My Fingertip." In addition, Epic Dope noted the two newly-added cast members in the Shaman King reboot. Yuri Horie will join the show as Jeanne, while Yuichi Nakamura will portray Marco's character.

Other stars that will be part of the series are Youko Hikasa as Yoh, Katsuyuki Konishi as Amidramaru, Inuko Inuyama as Manta, Megumi Hayashibara as Anna, and Romi Park as Tao. Fans will also see Kousuke Takaguchi as Bason, Masahiko Tanaka as Ryuunosuke, Wataru Takagi as Tokagerou, and Minami Yakayama as Hao, per AniTrendz.

Meanwhile, as the Shaman King reboot will give fans a new look at the Shamans' world, viewers are about to see the updated design of some of the characters, like Joco McDonnell.

According to Comicbook, the Shaman King reboot will be featuring a lot of improvements, particularly in its character design. Joco, who is also known as Chocolove in the original series, originally has protruding outer lips.

However, as this raises an issue of racism, the anime's future releases have dramatically changed her looks to remove the "racially insensitive work." Joco's appearance has been an issue that the series has to face before, questioning how it portrays other cultures.

Fortunately, that has been improved over time, and fans are about to see the much better aesthetics of Joco. By the looks of it, the Shaman King reboot will not only give fans a new perspective on Yoh's world and journey but a different look at the characters, too.

The reboot will be finally out on Thursday, April 1, in Japan on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo. Anyhow, Netflix has yet to announce when it will drop the series.
