Prince Philip is back at King Edward VII Hospital after his successful heart procedure at the cardiac unit of St. Bartholomew's and Buckingham Palace said that the Queen's husband is expected to stay confined for more treatments and monitoring.

The Duke of Edinburgh, who will turn 100 years old in June, suffers from a pre-existing heart condition. While the Palace did not detail his exact procedure, it's no secret that Philip was fitted with a stent in 2011 following a blocked artery.

Members of the royal family, however, said that the Duke of Edinburgh is doing well and responding to the treatments. Prince Edward, the duke and Queen Elizabeth's youngest son, said that his father has been raring to go home.

According to Daily Express, Philip will not have any visitors as he recovers at the hospital due to the COVID-19 restrictions. His only visitor during his nearly 20 days of hospitalization was his eldest son, Prince Charles, who checked on Philip during his first weekend of monitoring.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth took on new members of her family to keep her company in Windsor Castle, where she has been isolating since the pandemic. Her Majesty acquired two new Corgi puppies to add to her aging pet, Candy.

Palace insiders said that Queen didn't want any more dogs because she worried that she could leave them behind as pups when she passes on. The Queen has lived with dogs for all her life and Candy is a direct descendant of her first Corgi, Susan, which she had before she was married to Philip more than 70 years ago.

The Queen is bracing for a controversial weekend with the broadcast of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey on March 7. Sources at Buckingham Palace said that they are aware the royal family will "not be cast in the best light."

Clips of the interview have shown Harry and Meghan insinuating that they did not feel any support at the Palace during her transition from a private citizen to a working royal. Harry also said that their mental health suffered while they were working for The Firm and they had to rely on each other for support.

However, prior to the interview, Harry also had his feature with James Corden, where he revealed that he constantly talks to the Queen and Prince Philip via Zoom. The Duke of Sussex even shared hilarious anecdotes about his grandfather's Zoom habits and the Queen's Christmas gift for their son, Archie.
