Virginia Guiffre, the woman who accused Prince Andrew of a sexual indiscretion, has shared her insights into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey and said that their sentiments prove that Buckingham Palace has double standards.

In a post on Twitter, Guiffre said that the royal family should "hang their heads in shame" after Meghan and Harry said that they did not feel protected and that they worried for their son, Archie Harrison. Guiffre alluded that the Palace was willing to protect the Duke of York while treating Meghan and Harry badly.

Andrew's friendship with the disgraced billionaire, Jeffrey Epstein, led to his own step back from his royal roles just months before Harry and Meghan. The Duke of York publicly resigned in November 2019 after the airing of his train wreck interview with BBC, where he defended himself against Guiffre's claims and denied recalling ever meeting his accuser.

Guiffre continued her tweets and accused Buckingham Palace of "burying the truth and spreading lies." She said that they have to address Andrew's scandal and his lack of accountability.

She also called out the Palace on its investigations into the claims that Meghan bullied and made her staff members cry. Guiffre said that there were worse claims against Andrew but she's "still hearing crickets" from the royals. She said she has witnesses and actual proof of her allegations against the Duke of York but no one from the Palace wants to do an inquiry.

Gloria Allred, the lawyer of Epstein's other victims, said that same thing to The Guardian, citing that Andrew has been accused of a graver offense than bullying in the workplace. However, there has been no investigation at the Palace nor any condemnation of the Duke of York's actions.

Allred is not Guiffre's lawyer but she represents over 20 women who all came forward to say that they worked for Epstein's sex trafficking ring. The lawyer said that Harry and Meghan's interview had been a distraction and could be "calculated decision" so that the public will not focus on Andrew's scandal.

Buckingham Palace has said that they are not commenting on Andrew's case since he has a team of lawyers. The royal has yet to speak to the U.S. authorities on what he knows of Epstein's illegal activities.

Meanwhile, a source from the Andrew's camp told The Sun that the investigations are "not being conducted via Twitter," alluding to Guiffre's statements. They reiterated that the Duke of York has not yet resumed his royal duties until there has been a legal resolution to the investigations.
