BTS made history by becoming the first Asian group to perform their own song at the Grammy Awards and while they didn't win for Best Pop Duo or Group, they might have just drawn more adoring fans from around the world who gave them new viral nicknames.

Jin, who has been dubbed as Mr. Worldwide Handsome by the ARMY, BTS' fandom, had the most curious reaction from international fans on Twitter. But as they are just getting to know this K-pop group, they refer to Jin as The One in the Orange Suit.

Mr. Worldwide Handsome, however, should not be confused with The One With the Printed Orange Suit, because that guy was J-Hope, BTS' rapper. Curious fans also wanted to know more about him but to differentiate Jin and J-Hope, some new fans have referred to the former as The One with the Long Hair or The Guy with the Pink Mic as well.

New Jimin stans now call him The Guy in the Dark Green Suit or The Man in the Yellow Shirt. On the other hand, new V fans refer to him as The Guy in the White Suit while Jungkook became The Guy with the Blue Mic.

Though this was the group's first solo performance, BTS was at the Grammy Awards at least two times before. In 2019, they were awards presenter and in 2020, they briefly performed with Lil Nas X's, who did "Old Town Road." BTS sang a verse of someone's hit song.

BTS' journey to the Grammy Awards was well-earned. After all, "Dynamite," the song they were nominated for, was a record-breaking worldwide chart-topper. But some of the ARMY have not been happy with the result for Best Pop Duo or Group as the boys lost the award to Arianna Grande and Lady Gaga.

Many fans took to Twitter to express that the Grammys made the boys perform as eye and ear candy and to draw in more viewers. BTS was promoting the Grammys and their performance for weeks. In no time, #scammys trended online after the fans said that the music academy took advantage of BTS' popularity.

However, the septet took the loss with grace and gratitude. While there was disappointment on their faces, the boys simply clapped, laughed and comforted each other when the winner was announced.

Award or no award, BTS did exceptionally well with their electric performance on the stage. They reminded fans around the world that they are the biggest K-pop act to succeed outside of South Korea. BTS will likely be asked to perform at the Grammys again.
