2PM and JYP Entertainment have good news for the fandom as the six-member all-male K-Pop group is set for a comeback. There is little information as to when the idols will return as a complete act but, reports said that this will happen in 2021.

AllKpop said that the talks about the comeback emerged following the confirmation of member Junho's military discharge date. As noted, he will complete his duties as a social service worker on March 20.

There will be no celebrations, however, as the country still observes its COVID-19 safety measures and guidelines. But, it will mark the start of a new chapter for the K-Pop idols as Junho's return will be the completion of the group's mandatory military service.

JYP Entertainment has yet to reveal its plans for 2PM. But, the label previously hinted their cards for the group's comeback this year earlier in January.

Soompi reported that the agency released an announcement at that time, teasing fans and followers that the six members will be working together as soon as Junho returns from his service. The statement, also, added that they will greet the public "with good content" and urged everyone to look forward to a "2021 that is chock-full of 2PM."

2PM has not been complete as a group since 2016 due to the members' respective military enlistments. But, despite this, their music has, reportedly, managed to "stay in the spotlight" these past few years.

Apart from the active members' solo projects, the K-Pop group's 2015 track "My House" obtained unexpected popularity years after its release because of countless covers made by other artists and idols. It, then, makes total sense why their label has since prepared for their full comeback.

The Korea Portal even noted that 2021 will be JYP Entertainment's year because of the reported "multiple comebacks." Apart from 2PM, there are speculations, as well, that Stray Kids and ITZY will return to the scene in the second quarter of the year.

Meanwhile, a separate report from Soompi claimed that Junho has been considering taking on a role for a historical drama project, alongside Lee Se Young. Although details remain scarce, insiders from the celebrities' respective agencies shared hints that the pair are in talks to do the series titled, The Red Sleeve Cuff.

They are both, reportedly, "positively reviewing" the offers. Accordingly, Junho will likely be occupied with tons of projects upon the completion of his military service.
