Friendships among K-Pop groups and idols are not surprising anymore. What is shocking, though, is the level of closeness of the links between the celebrities. One great example of this is the relationship between Jimin of BTS and Vernon of SEVENTEEN.
Fans of both K-Pop groups already know that the members share remarkable friendships. But, after witnessing several close encounters, many are wondering just how close Jimin and Vernon are.
Koreaboo released a report on the matter, detailing some of the events wherein the two K-Pop idols appear to have manifested that they are, indeed, great friends. Most of these engagements, though, were during awarding ceremonies and other significant celebrity gatherings.
In a previous awarding ceremony, Jimin sat with the rest of the BTS members. But, amid the event, someone caught his attention, causing him to turn around and greet this person with surprise and enthusiasm.
The publication said that this person is no other than Vernon. After seeing Jimin's warm greetings, the SEVENTEEN member bowed to greet back, making the "Filter" singer smile.
In another encounter, fans could not, reportedly, believe that Jimin went straight to Vernon to give him a "hug." Based on the clips provided, the SEVENTEEN idol greeted him while going down the stage, and the BTS member answered it back with a sweet gesture.
These are only some of the examples showing that Jimin and Vernon share a close and tight relationship. The same outlet noted, however, that it remains unclear how the two K-Pop idols became friends or how close they have become over the years.
Several avid followers pointed out, though, that BTS and SEVENTEEN have always gotten along well. In Amino Apps, one netizen even recalled the moment when the Love & Letter artists felt excited seeing and welcoming the "Dynamite" singers.
During the same engagement, the septet even showed their support and praises toward the 13-member group. They even hoped that the latter would win that year's Rookie of The Year award, which they, later on, did.
Jimin sharing close friendships with other K-Pop idols is not entirely surprising, as well. As pointed out, he has created many significant links with others before the public.
A separate report from Koreaboo seemingly proves this as it tackles the BTS member's ties with EXO's Kai. It even asserted that the bond between the two South Korean celebrities is "enough to end fan wars."
