The new episode's title, "Distant Future," is now out, along with its official synopsis and trailer. It will mainly revolve around Asta, Nacht, and Liebe, and it will surely be filled with action-packed scenes, magical powers, and more.
According to BlockToro, the devil gave Asta the power after Nacht used his spell. Asta has to make the devil give in to master his ability after facing and defeating him.
Asta will then do something crazy that fans need to see in Black Clover Episode 170. Elsewhere, Yuno, Noelle, and others will try their best to acquire more power to take their revenge against the Dark Triad.
They will try their best to get Yami back and others who have been taken away from them and save the world from their significant threat. From here, a new story will begin.
The trailer, on the other hand, shows a young Liebe meeting Asta's mother. It will reveal how she is left with no choice but to leave them in the open as they can't use magic.
There will also be some flashbacks showing Asta and Liebe's backstory. It will then give a glimpse of Nacht and Asta undergoing training in the current timeline and seem to be preparing for something big in Black Clover Episode 170.
Comicbook noted the final episode might answer all the hanging questions fans have. However, it is also possible that it will leave some mysteries in the end.
The only thing confirmed would happen in this series is its ending, and nothing is known beyond that. Fans expect the show to return once the manga has gone ahead and produced more chapters for the anime to adapt.
