DAY6 will be making their triumphant return as a whole group next month. The boys announced the good news at midnight on Monday, March 29, giving fans the best update ever to start their week off.

Fans now have the reason to celebrate as DAY6 is about to drop a new album in April. Titled "The Book of Us," it will mark the group's return to work, as well as the end of their hiatus.

Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon will be once again seen together, performing on the same stage. According to Soompi, the boys have dropped their official comeback poster to tease their followers of their return.

Their album's title is a reference to their past, knowing eveything that they have been through. It comes with a dramatic caption that tells something about the chaos, utopia, demon, and Mother Nature.

With the help of prayer, all of these will disappear, and true love will bloom. An industry representative has been hinting at DAY6's return since February, teasing the group is working on a new album that will be out in April.

A JYP Entertainment source, on the other hand, then confirmed the news. At the time, he said the upcoming LP's release would be announced once everything was confirmed.

The group's last album release was The Book of Us: The Demon in May 2020. The boys didn't have the chance promote the album, though.

They all took a break and stopped all their activities to give way to Jae and Sungjin to have some time off to focus on their mental health. However, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon dropped The Book of Us: Gluon - Nothing Can Tear Us a Part as DAY6's new subunit, called DAY6 (Even of Day).

Fans couldn't help but celebrate the group's return after almost a year of being away. Jae himself brought the news on Twitch, assuring their followers of their return, saying they had always been working on their music and hoping everyone will like it, per Dork.

Fans said they couldn't wait for their idols' return after a long wait. Meanwhile, speaking of Jae, he recently took his Twitch channel down after a backlash over his controversial remarks while playing the video game Rust, per NME.

In the now-deleted Twitch livestream, he called a guy his sugar daddy and moved his character in front of another player's avatar, mimicking a vulgar move. He later apologized with a brief statement on Twitter, promising to show a better version of himself.

Anyhow, DAY6's new album, The Book of Us, will officially drop on Monday, April 19, at 6 p.m. Korea Standard Time.
