One of the most important persons in Hope Valley is in danger in the When Calls the Heart season 8 episode 7. Ned's (Hrothgar Mathews) fate is in question after collapsing in the previous episode and his life is on the line in the upcoming "Before my Very Eyes."
When Calls the Heart season 8 episode 7 will continue what happened in episode 6. Ned is a major concern here and there is no guarantee that he will recover anytime soon. While he's already at the infirmary, it's still uncertain whether or not he'll get through his current situation.
The synopsis notes that a health scare prompted the people in Hope Valley to worry about one of their own. One of the major concerns here is that the series tends to deliver shocking twists, including the death of Jack (Daniel Lissing), who happens to be Elizabeth's husband.
Hence, Ned may not be an exception to this. The promo of When Calls the Heart season 8 episode 7 shows that everyone in Hope Valley is worried about him. He is at the infirmary and went through an operation -- but it may not be enough to save him.
The clip teased that the upcoming episode is going to be full of emotional moments, as well. Elizabeth, in particular, is hugely impacted by the current situation of Ned. This prompted Nathan (Kevin McGarry) and Lucas (Chris McNally) to comfort her.
As seen in the promo, Nathan and Lucas will have their separate moments with Elizabeth. They want to make sure that she's being cared for during this difficult time. The love triangle between the three has been a major part of the story and their situation may further hype up whom she'll end up with.
At the end of the video, Elizabeth asked Nathan if he ever lost someone close to his heart. The latter looks at her and responded: "Not yet." This suggests that he's not giving up even though they had a serious conversation earlier this season. The love triangle will continue as the story progresses.
Meanwhile, both men will also have their own storyline in When Calls the Heart season 8 episode 7. Nathan will finalize the adoption of Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller), while Lucas is becoming more suspicious of Christopher's (James Drew Dean) behavior.
Nathan is determined to adopt his niece and this is something that he seriously takes on. He will do his best to take care of her, which brings a happy moment to his storyline. As for Lucas, his suspicion of Christopher continues since he's still a "mysterious stranger" who arrives in Hope Valley.
