Fans of BTS have always shown love for the seven K-Pop idols. But, aside from the overwhelming support and admiration, they are, also, the first ones to defend the artists from various issues and controversies.

Recently, this happened again after E! News posted photos of the septet on Twitter. While it was an update about the members, "speaking up for the Asian community," netizens noticed that the account uploaded cropped images.

Upon checking the post, ARMYs saw that the publication only cropped J-Hope out. This, then, sparked the backlash toward E! News, according to Koreaboo.

Following the surge of criticisms regarding the matter, the outlet deleted the original post. But, despite doing so, avid fans and followers of BTS demand an apology from E! News for J-Hope.

Many of them explained that this is not the first it happened. Several individuals even posted screenshots of previous cropped photos, proving that it is a "repeated offense" toward the K-Pop idol.

Hours after the whole debacle, the publication issued an apology. They said that it will not happen again, adding that it was "unintentional."

However, the fandom is not, reportedly, satisfied because E! News issued the apology in a form of a reply to a netizen's tweet. As a result, avid fans demand a more professional and official statement to address the matter.

Amid all the issues, though, the members of BTS have seemingly remained silent. J-Hope, in particular, has not released any statement in relation to the controversy.

Instead, the group's rapper pulled a prank on his fans. A separate report from Koreaboo released the details of what happened.

In marking April Fool's Day, J-Hope tried to make a joke before the ARMYs. On Weverse, he showed off his supposed newly dyed hair.

He posted photos showing his hair dyed in red. In the captions, he said that he did it but, he could not show his face to highlight his hair's new feature.

Fans and followers immediately realized that the photos were old. The publication pointed out that J-Hope did not fool anyone as many eagle-eyed ARMYs found the original photos and posted them on the platform.

Upon seeing the reaction of the netizens, the BTS member quickly admitted that it was supposed to be a prank. He let them know that the fandom won. J-Hope, then, confirmed it by posting a screenshot of the date on his phone, implying that it was all because of April Fool's Day.
