Jimin of BTS has seemingly found himself in the middle of controversy these past few days. This comes after his avid fans and supporters sent four protest trucks to Big Hit's shareholders' meeting on Tuesday.

AllKpop reported that it happened at Seoul Dragon City Yongsan Hotel. As explained, the fandom is "demanding fast action" from the label regarding the "malicious comments" thrown by toxic fans toward the "Filter" singer on various blogs and media platforms.

Several fan pages on social media channels posted photos of the protest. It appears that the responsible individuals were releasing updates for the rest of the avid supporters of the K-Pop idol.

Following the debacle, the publication said that Big Hit Entertainment immediately released an official statement. The label stated that they "regularly initiate legal proceedings against perpetrators of malicious activities related to BTS." These acts include "ill-intentioned criticisms, spread of groundless information, sexual harassment, personal attack, and defamation."

The company continued that they "regularly collect information on malicious postings regarding BTS," adding that they report these things to authorities. In the end, they thanked the fans for their "affection and dedication" to the K-Pop group.

Despite releasing a detailed statement to address the issue, the fandom still asked for actual results. The fan pages dedicated to Jimin noted that the "truck protest in front of the new company building will continue in May" if the blogs in question are not closed by the end of April.

KBIZOOM previously reported that the members of BTS always face criticisms and allegations since their debut. But, among the septet, V, Jungkook, and Jimin are the members who have received most of the malicious comments.

As stated, the "promise" singer even received two death threats in the past. As his fanbase dramatically expands over the years, so does the number of "anti-fans."

The publication, then, pointed out that Jimin is a "frequent victim of groundless rumors." He, also, receives different kinds of insults, involving both his "appearance and dignity."

But, despite all of this, the members of BTS are not vocal about the criticisms that they receive from their critics. Instead, they appear to overshadow these negative things with appreciation and gratefulness toward their avid supporters.

Cheat Sheet added, as well, that the seven members no longer "pay as much attention to the haters" as they used to in the past. This came after group leader RM shared that there are "people who attack for no legitimate reason," which he deemed "sad."

He countered, however, that "there is too much good in the world to focus" on these negative things. He, also, emphasized that "life is too short" for those kinds of things.
