Donald Trump's ex-bodyguard claims the former United States commander in chief still owes him more than $130 for McDonald's cheeseburgers, Complex reported on Saturday.
According to Kevin McKay, he worked as Trump's bodyguard for five years... and one time in 2008, their convoy of six Range Rovers hit up McDonald's before flying home after visiting one of his golf courses in Scotland.
McKay said the former president didn't have any UK currency on him, "so he asked me if I could front him the cash."
McKay said he paid for an order of 20 cheeseburgers and fries and around 10 to 15 Cokes. "He told me he would pay me back, but he never did," he told the Daily Mail.
The former bodyguard says $130 at the time was a big deal to him, especially because he was only making around $2,700 a month while working for Trump.
McKay said he kept putting off asking for the money during that time and Trump never offered to pay him back.
McKay was reportedly sacked in 2012 and he claims the pressure of working for Trump ultimately cost him his 23-year marriage.
"I thought he was an okay guy when I first started working for him, but I guess that as we have all come to see, he is not a man of his word," Independent quoted McKay as saying.
Trump's obsession for McDonald's is widely known. It can be recalled he served a McDonald's buffet to Clemson and North Dakota State after they won football national championships.
Trump ate McDonald's to avoid being poisoned, according to the explosive book, Fire and Fury, by Michael Wolff.
