Undercover is an upcoming JTBC drama starring Ji Jin Hee and Kim Hyun Joo, which also serves as reunion series for them after playing husband and wife in SBS' I Have Lover. The two will be playing a married couple again, but their roles are completely different this time.

In Undercover, Ji Jin Hee stars the National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent, Han Jung Hyun. He gave up everything he has and has been hiding his true identity after falling in love with his wife. He'll fight and protect his family when he suddenly caught up in an unexpected incident.

Kim Hyun Joo plays the role of Choi Yeon Soo, Han Jung Hyun's wife. She is a human rights lawyer and becomes nominated as the head of the Corruption Investigation Office for High-Ranking Officials (CIO). Their happy marriage might get ruined due to the secrets they've been hiding from each other.

According to the production crew of Undercover, Han Jung Hyun is hiding a secret that he can't reveal and he's on a dangerous mission to stop his wife from becoming head of the CIO. But then, his top priority is protecting his family and ensuring their safety.

Choi Yeon Soo, on the other hand, will experience confusion and crisis after finding out at a crucial turning point in her life. The couple fights for justice, faith, and their loved ones amidst unstable times, and their secrets will start to unfold.

In the recently released stills of Undercover, Han Jung Hyun and Choi Yeon Soo can be seen living their peaceful lives with their children Han Seung Gu (Yoo Seon Ho) and Han Seung Mi (Lee Jae In). They go on a trip to the beach as the couple happily watched their children having fun.

The older child is Han Seung Gu, who has autism spectrum disorder and very close to his father. Han Jung Hyun, who runs a bike shop, teaches his son several things about bikes and life. In one of the stills, he is warmly looking at Han Seung Gu with a smile on his face.

Han Seung Mi is the younger and she is attached to her mother. Another still showed Choi Yeon Soo holding a phone as she and her daughter seriously gaze at it. Their similar attitude makes the mother-daughter duo relationship more interesting.

Undercover will start airing on Friday, April 23 at 11 PM KST, on JTBC. The series is based on the 2016 BBC TV drama of the same name. The remake is directed by Song Hyeon Wook, with scripts written by Song Ja Hoon, Jun Hye Eun, and Baek Cheol Hyeon.
