BTS is facing several military enlistment speculations these past few months. This comes after its oldest member, Jin turned 28 last December.

It was supposed to be his last year to enlist himself in the country's military. As explained, all men between the age of 18 and 30 from South Korea are required to do so, and considering that the service takes nearly two years, the final age they can enlist is 28.

Last December, though, the country's Ministry of Defense approved an amendment, which allows K-Pop idols who have received a "decoration of cultural merit" to delay the enlistment until they turn 30. Accordingly, Jin will have to join the service on or before 2022.

Following the latest movements, an analyst from the Leading Investment and Securities recently shared his predictions about the BTS members' enlistment. Yoo Seong Man claimed that the septet will likely join the service together by mid-2022.

He continued that, despite the nearly two-year service, "there will only be roughly a one-year gap" with no content or releases from BTS. He explained that this is because of "pre-production," which the label and the group may work on before they enlist in the military.

The expert, also, said that the K-Pop group can still "generate hits and profit even after" their service. He noted that "BTS is at the world-star level," similar to what Michael Jackson or The Beatles achieved in the past.

Yoo Seong Man's predictions seemingly reached the heads of Big Hit Music. Hours after the news hit the headlines, the agency released an official statement to Tenasia, according to Koreaboo.

In the announcement, though, the label stated that they "have nothing further to say" about the BTS members' military enlistment, aside from what the K-Pop idols have already said before. They, also, asked for everyone's "understanding" amid all the speculations and rumors.

On the K-Pop idols' part, they have yet to break their silence. But, everyone is positive that Jin will soon drop an official statement regarding his enlistment.

Republic World previously released a report, covering the potential enlistment dates of the septet. Suga is the second oldest member, and will likely join the service right after Jin enlists himself.

Next to them, RM and J-Hope, who were both born in 1994, may enlist themselves on or before 2024. Meanwhile, V and Jimin, who were born in 1995, will likely follow suit on or before 2025.

As for the youngest member of BTS, Jungkook still has seven years before the final date he could enlist himself in the military. He was born in 1997, making him 23-years-old today.
