Prodigal Son season 2 episode 10 is coming next week on Fox, with the title "Exit Strategy." Within this episode, Martin Whitly (Michael Sheen) is desperate to speak with his son, Malcolm Bright (Tom Payne). However, the latter is not interested to talk to his father and doesn't give him his time.
In Prodigal Son season 2 episode 10, Martin is going to do whatever he can just to contact Malcolm. He is desperate to get in touch with his son before orchestrating his imminent plan. Dr. Vivian Capshaw grows (Catherine Zeta-Jone), on the other hand, is becoming more suspicious.
Malcolm has been trying to get away from his father and escape his dark past since the first installment. He does not want to be affiliated with Martin in any way, and his top priority now is to protect his sister, Ainsley Withly (Halston Sage), and their mother, Jessica Whitly (Bellamy Young).
However, Martin continues to link his name to his son, which often puts Malcolm in question. Another concern here is that his father is close to making his escape plan happen with the help of Dr. Capshaw. The two are becoming even closer and their relationship is heading in a specific direction.
Malcolm knows how dangerous Martin could be, that's why he distanced himself from him. In Prodigal Son season 2 episode 10, he'll try to find more ways to escape and to avoid meeting his father as he knows chaos is coming when they come face to face again.
Also, it looks like Malcolm takes the advice of those around him as he continues to put a space between him and his father. However, something may happen that could lead him to meet Martin even if it's against his will -- and this could involve his mother.
Even though Malcolm tries to get away from his father, Jessica is doing the opposite. She goes to Martin because she needs to dive more into the past in order to complete her tell-all book. Sheen's character could use this as an opportunity to force his son to meet him.
While dealing with his personal issues, Malcolm and the NYPD will investigate a crime of passion in Prodigal Son season 2 episode 10. Only a few episodes were left after this one and there is no guarantee the story will continue as procedural crime drama hasn't been renewed for season 3.
