Doom at Your Service is an upcoming South Korean fantasy romance drama starring Park Bo Young and Seo In Guk. The story centers on a woman living an ordinary life until she meets her unexpected fate and risked everything she has after signing up a 100-day contract with a man.
Doom at Your Service stars Park Bo Young as Tak Dong Kyung, who puts her life on the line to avoid her fate. Seo In Guk, on the other hand, plays Myul Mang. He is a messenger between gods and humans, and everything vanishes the moment he touched it.
Recently, the actress took part in an interview, where she talked about her role and working with her co-stars. As for why she chose to be part of the series, she said the most important factors for her in choosing a project are: how emotionally touching it is and what makes her curious about what will happen next.
She noted that Doom at Your Service was based on the aforementioned factors. She also shared other reasons why she joined the drama without hesitation, revealing that she wanted to work with director Kwon Young Il (My Unfamiliar Family) and writer Im Me Ah Ri (Beauty Inside).
When it comes to her character, Park Bo Young said one of the charms of Dong Kyung is filling up the remaining parts of her life since she only has 100 days left to live. The actress added she's impressed with how her character makes a decision that would've been difficult for her if she's in the same position.
In terms of working with her co-stars in Doom at Your Service, she said they have amazing teamwork. Talking about Seo In Guk, her love interest in the series, she revealed that she thought they could star in a project someday after watching is acting in the past.
The actress said that she's glad they've finally got to meet in the fantasy romance drama as Dong Kyung and Myul Mang. As for working with others, she said there's endless laughter while acting with Lee Soo Hyuk, who plays her character's co-worker, Cha Joo Ik.
Park Bo Young added that she had fun working together with Shin Do Hyun, who plays Na Ji Na, as they joked around a lot on set. On acting alongside SF9's Dawon, she said it made her feel like she had a younger brother in real life as the actor plays Sun Kyung, Dong Kung's younger brother.
As for what she's looking forward to the most in the series, Park Bo Young revealed she wants to see the scene where Dong Kyung opens up her feeling about Myul Mang, and also the scene where the two are walking forward while the world goes backward.
Doom at Your Service is set to premiere on May 10 at 9 PM KST on tvN and will also be available on Viki with English subtitles.
