Dr. Stone: Stone Wars ended its course last March. Following the new season renewal, the second installment to the franchise now gets an official English dub release on Toonami.

Comic Book reported that the anime programming block on Adult Swim will welcome the manga adaptation on May 15. While several individuals may soon start to witness the second run, others have already enjoyed some of the dubbed episodes on Funimation. As noted, it is currently available on the platform for streaming.

The series' arrival on Toonami is only part of its "eventful" month this May. Viewers will, also, see several "major returns" of other materials, like My Hero Academia.

Toonami confirmed the reports on Wednesday, according to Anime News Network. Through social media channels, Adult Swim released the schedule for its May 15 Toonami block.

The lineup begins with Dragon Ball Super at midnight. It will be followed by My Hero Academia, then Dr. Stone: Stone Wars.

Other anime series included in the block are Black CloverThe Promised NeverlandFood Wars! The Third PlateNaruto Shippuden, and Attack on Titan.

The same publication, later on, recalled that the second season run of Boici and Riichirou Inagaki's Dr. Stone manga premiered on January 14, in Japan.

The eleven-episode installment aired weekly on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, TV Aichi, BS11, and KBS Kyoto. Global audiences, except those who are in Asia, were able to witness, as well, the series adaptation on Crunchyroll.

Shortly after Dr. Stone: Stone Wars concluded its course, renewal reports immediately came before the public. It is not, reportedly, surprising considering the positive reception it continues to receive, as well as its increasing popularity across the globe.

Polygon said that Toho Animation, also, released a trailer for the third season. It seemingly covers the "Age of Exploration" arc from the original manga.

As described, the 1-minute teaser material features Senku and the rest of the Kingdom of Science, boarding a boat and sailing toward an unknown location. It did not provide any further details about the new installment but, it appears to have built the hype among netizens.

The post has since obtained over 43,300 likes and 26,000 retweets. Hundreds of comments were, also, left by fans and followers to share their excitement.

It remains unclear, though, when the sequel to Dr. Stone: Stone Wars will arrive on small screens. Nevertheless, many are assuming that it will premiere in between 2022 and 2023.
