BLACKPINK member Rosé has come a long way since her trainee days. Since the group's debut in 2016, all four of them have reached new heights in their respective careers.

Following the release of her debut album, Rosé has continued to smash records and top music charts. With the success of her recent releases, it is not surprising if she makes a comeback as a solo artist in the next few years.

For the time being, though, she remains focused on promoting her two-track collection on various channels. She recently sat down for an interview with The Project, wherein she talked about several things, including her childhood years and trainee days.

Koreaboo said that the BLACKPINK vocalist, also, discussed the differences between South Korea and Australia. As fans would recall, she grew up in the latter and relocated to the former to pursue her dreams of becoming an idol.

When asked about the thing she misses the most in her hometown, Rosé said that there are "so many things." She, also, noted that most of these things are the ones she "may have taken for granted."

Among all, though, the "On The Ground" singer revealed that there is a huge difference in "lifestyle" between South Korea and Australia. She explained that Seoul is a "busy city," while the suburb of Bullen "was the complete opposite."

Rosé continued that she misses the "quietness" of her old hometown, adding that the "whole lifestyle was very relaxed." She, then, concluded that she misses her entire "childhood, basically."

Later in the same engagement, the BLACKPINK member recalled the homesickness she experienced during her trainee days. She revealed, as well, how she overcame it during those challenging times.

Rosé shared that things were "very hard," especially when she first came to South Korea to train under YG Entertainment. She noted how emotional she was because of homesickness.

While her parents supported her every step of the way, she remembered when they suggested returning home to Australia instead. But, despite the challenges, Rosé turned down her parents' offer to follow her dream.

She explained how "sure" she was of her future in the world of K-Pop. In the end, she happily said that she never regretted anything.

Aside from her family's backing, the "GONE" singer, also, talked about the support she continues to receive from her BLACKPINK co-members. She even stated how each of the K-Pop idols expressed their excitement and joy upon learning about her debut as a solo artist.
