The Penthouse Season 3 is now weeks away before it premieres on small screens. Ahead of its release date, the cast and production are now in preparation for the new installment.

Koreaboo said that the filming has begun on TuesdaySPOTV News first reported about it earlier this month. But, it was only recently when the heads confirmed the assertions, noting that they have already completed the initial script reading last April 22.

The entire cast, reportedly, took a three-week break after the conclusion of the second season. Following the hiatus, they are now ready for a "speedy comeback."

The same publication said that The Penthouse Season 3 will pick up where it last left off. Considering that the second season ended with a cliffhanger, avid fans and viewers have since remained eager to witness the developments in the plot.

As it happened, Season 2 concluded with Logan Lee suffering an accident before Shim Soo Ryeon's eyes. It remains unconfirmed whether the character met his demise or not.

Accordingly, the first few episodes of Season 3 will likely provide immediate answers to the fans and followers of the show. Moreover, it is, also, expected that the plot will be "even more dramatic" than the previous installments.

There are no specific details yet as to how the plot will go in The Penthouse Season 3. But, many are already positive that there will be new faces once the new episodes arrive.

In the Season 2 finale, two new characters were introduced. Joon Gi, who sat beside Logan Lee on the plane, and Yoo Dong Pil, Yoo Jenny's father and Kang Ma Ri's husband. While no one knows yet how these characters will add to the overall drama, reports have claimed that viewers will see more of them in the next installment.

The Penthouse Season 3 will, also, have a new broadcast schedule, according to Soompi. The upcoming episodes will drop on SBS once a week, every Friday.

The network, as well as the production, has not given any explanation, though, regarding the changes in the schedule. As for the number of episodes, the third season will house a total of 11 installments. This is a significant downgrade to the first two seasons, given that they each consisted of 21 and 13, respectively.

The Penthouse Season 3 will officially air on June 4, on SBS. More updates will likely arrive in the next few weeks ahead of the premiere.
