Boruto Chapter 58 will continuously focus on the next generation of fighters, Boruto and Kawaki. It is these two's time to shine after Naruto and Sasuke mostly lose their powers.

So, can Boruto and Kawaki take the enemies alone in Boruto Chapter 58? Code and Eida will be the new arc's villains, but some say these two seem to lack a backstory that makes them fitting antagonists of the series.

Will there be a twist coming that will justify their being the new big bad? According to BlockToro, the new chapter's storyline is turning the tides to begin a new arc, making Code the new supervillain.

Code used to be a minor character on the sideline who is now getting more traction by being more powerful than the Otsutsukis, who used to be the biggest threat against the Shinobis. Now, it is up to Boruto and Kawaki on how they will stop Code from sowing terror after becoming far stronger than them.

As these new generations of fighters still lack the proper knowledge to use their Karma, can they bring Code down? It is also possible that these two will undergo intense training to master their abilities to become formidable warriors that will defeat Code.

On the other hand, Code will get the help of Eida, whose power is said to be unrelated to the Naruto universe. She can make any men fall for her and start to make them do what she wants.

This is a form of mind control, sure, but it may have no use in the manga's storyline. So, it looks like Boruto Chapter 58 has to feature a backstory that will reveal what motivates Code and Eida to become the next arc's main antagonists.

In Boruto Chapter 57, Code proved his worth to enter the base, allowing him to finally come in. He then told Bug they had to wake Eida up--a move the scientist was not sure about, OtakuKart News noted.

He had no idea what Code wanted to do with Eida, but he hoped he knew what he was doing. Bug believed Code didn't know Eida's abilities, but he said he knew everything about this world.

Bug reminded him that they had no way to force Eida to follow what they wanted, insisting she's a different woman. Impatient of his words, Code used his claws, broke the tube where Eida was and told Bug that if she defied him, he would kill her.
