Sunmi and Chungha made their respective comebacks earlier this year. They dropped their albums, TAIL and QUERENCIA, respectively last February, and have since obtained successes in these releases.
Following their new feats in the industry, the two South Korean soloists were chosen to be the cover of Marie Claire Korea. As part of the shoot, they sat down for an interview, wherein they discussed their friendship, as well as their interests.
Koreaboo said that Sunmi and Chungha know how similar they are. They even revealed that they are both "huge homebodies," adding that their favorite time of the day is "at night," after completing their respective works.
Chunga said that she likes "spending time alone," and she loves it the most when she already feels the "touch of [her] blanket" after a long day. She even described it as the "best," adding that she watches a film or two while eating something before sleeping at 2 or 3 in the morning.
Sunmi echoed her friend's statements, saying that they do not go out very often. When not working, they always opt to stay at home to enjoy their day off.
Considering that they avoid spending time outside, the two artists claimed that they rarely hang out. This is why they, reportedly, enjoy their time during joint "promotion periods."
But, if there are no collaborative projects or works, they usually contact each other in their most "convenient time." Chungha said that she always sends her best friend a video, which Sunmi confirmed, adding that she replies with her "ugly" pictures.
The K-Pop idols, also, talked about how their friendship began. In the same engagement, they said that they became "great friends" after meeting on Weekly Idol.
The "Bicycle" singer, then, shared that she felt excited working with Sunmi at that time. So, she acted "super charming" towards her unnie.
She, reportedly, tried to be "very cute," as well, by sending a heart to the "Noir" singer. But, now that they have grown so much closer, she pointed out that she now feels more comfortable.
Sunmi consequently stated that she always wanted a younger sister because she only has two younger brothers. This is why when she met Chungha, she immediately treated her like her own sibling. She even revealed that she calls her best friend "Princess."
Later in the interview, Chungha and Sunmi were asked about their plans once they get home, according to Soompi. Both of the artists claimed that they would order takeout food. But, while the "TAIL" singer had planned to watch Harry Potter, Chungha said that her day had just begun, so she would not likely sleep until the morning.
