BLACKSWAN started a Korean Travel Series earlier in March. Despite this, the four members of the group are still on "hiatus" in the world of K-Pop.

It remains unclear when they will return to the music space. But, their recent movements and activities seemingly suggest that they are preparing for their comeback soon.

The speculations come after their official social media accounts encourage netizens to participate in their "international audition.AllKpop said that the group is now looking for a new fifth member after Hyeme left last year.

The details of the application are all published on the group's Twitter account. They are urging individuals from all parts of the globe to join as they may become the "next K-Pop idol."

The audition will run for a month starting from May 21 at 10 p.m., KST. It will officially conclude on June 21 at the same hour.

Based on the details posted, there are no restrictions when it comes to the qualifications. BLACKSWAN is, nevertheless, looking for anyone who may fall under the vocal, rap, or dance category.

Interested individuals should send their applications on the given application link. They do not, however, encourage multiple submissions, adding that all documents, including pictures and clips, will all be a property of DR Music.

It, also, appears that the agency will screen the online applicants with the use of their applications. If chosen, the screened applicants will move on to the offline auditions.

The post has since amassed over 700 likes. While many have shown interest by sharing their thoughts in the comment section on the platform, others do not seemingly approve BLACKSWAN's next move.

Several netizens pointed out that there is no need to add a new member to the group. Some even asserted that the multiple changes in the line-up over the year are already "enough."

Many individuals, also, appeared to have slammed the agency for not giving the group an official comeback following their debut late last year. The majority of them said that adding a new member should not happen before returning to the music space.

BLACKSWAN is a five-member K-Pop group, which derived from the original all-female band, RANIA. They debuted in October of 2020 with the album, Goodbye RANIA.

Days after releasing the official music video of the album's lead track, "Tonight," member Hyeme faced scandals and controversies, centering on an alleged "loan" from a fan. Although the K-Pop idol, as well as the label, dismissed the accusations, it did not seemingly help the idol's career.

The following day, DR MUSIC announced that Hyeme would leave BLACKSWAN for good as her five-year contract had expired. Moreover, the rest of the group would take a break due to the controversies.
