Blue Bloods season 11 finale will be airing its two-part episode this coming weekend. A lot of action-packed scenes are coming for the Reagan family, especially since Joe Hill (Will Hochman) is returning. The story will mostly revolve around him as his latest mission puts him in grave danger.

In Blue Bloods season 11 finale, Joe goes on an undercover mission that becomes risky later on. He ended up in a precarious situation and might need the help of others, particularly the Reagans. The major question is whether or not they'll be able to help him get out of his current situation.

Some of the preview photos showed that unlikely teams will be formed in the two-part season finale. For instance, brothers Jamie (Will Estes) and Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) go on a mission together -- possibly to help Joe with his mission.

The two weren't wearing police uniforms, suggesting that they proceed without any commands. It also looks like Jamie and Danny don't want to be seen as they're hiding in a spot where no one will notice them. Based on their reaction, this mission is going to be a complicated one, as well.

The promo of Blue Bloods season 11 finale also focused on Joe and the dangerous situation he's currently in. This man knows that he is a Reagan, but he's been trying to escape that family name ever since he found out that Frank (Tom Selleck) was his grandfather.

Joe found a way to escape by going deep undercover, now working with the ATF. However, that doesn't mean that he can get away with the Reagans easily. As seen in the clip, he runs into Danny, who discovered his current job.

The clip also showed that the Reagan family was concerned about Joe being an undercover agent. They know how dangerous his job could be, so Frank will make sure that he'll do whatever he can to protect his grandson and get him back on their side.

Frank may try to find a way to make Joe comfortable with other Reagans in Blue Bloods season 11 finale. Yet, that won't be easy as some people also want him on their side -- particularly the strong-willed Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Special Agent, Rachel Weber (Gloria Reuben).

In a previous interview with TV Insider, executive producer Kevin Wade said that the presence of Weber could hugely impact the Reagan family. He teased that there's going to be a battle between her and Frank since both of them have claims to Joe.

Blue Bloods season 11 finale two-part episode is set to air on Friday, May 14, on CBS.
