Netflix is giving its subscribers another treat this month. Its newest title addition to their library's anime line-up, Eden will arrive before May ends.

Anime News Network reported that the details of the series have emerged following the latest trailer's arrival earlier on Wednesday. The streaming giant dropped two separate videos for both Japanese and English audiences.

The materials do not give away too much information about the upcoming anime series. But, they show how the premise goes, giving fans an idea about its overall plot.

The trailers, also, feature the key characters of the sci-fi anime series. These include Sara, a human, and two robots who found and raised her as their own.

The publication noted that Eden will officially premiere on May 27. It was, reportedly, supposed to debut last fall but, delays happened due to unknown reasons.

Aside from the release date, the latest teaser materials, also, revealed new cast additions. These are Tarusuke Shingaki, Yuko Kaida, and Yuki Kuwahara, who lent their voices to the characters of S566, Geneve, and Zurich.

The original and lead cast are Marika Kono, Kyoko Hikami, Kentaro Ito, and Koichi Yamadera. They play the roles of Sara, A37, E92, and Zero, respectively.

As for the production crew, Yasuhiro Irie is the director, while Justin Leach is the producer. Meanwhile, Kimik Ueno is producing the screenplay.

Post Apocalyptic Media previously released a report on Eden. The outlet shared the overall concept, as well as the synopsis of the upcoming Netflix original anime.

As noted, the series follows the story of a young girl, Sara. She lives among robots thousands of years in the future with everyone thinking that humans are extinct.

While doing their routines, two farming robots found Sara in a mechanical pod. They take her in as their own and raise her in secret to protect her from everyone who hates human beings.

Sara's adventures begin as she starts to question herself about her existence. She wonders why she is in "Eden," the place where they are all living, and is confused about why she is not a robot.

With the increasing hype and popularity of Eden, Tsuyoshi Isomoto announced that he would draw a manga adaptation earlier in February. The materials were launched later in April through the Young King Ours GH magazine.

The Netflix title will run for four episodes in total. As for the other details about the series, it is expected that more information will emerge in the next few weeks.
