Kate Middleton and Prince William have announced their first royal tour for 2021 and it will be in Scotland, where they will also visit the school where they met.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are going to talk to the undergraduates of their Alma Mater, St. Andrew's University. The couple had been students and residents of the campus from 2001 to 2005.

William and Kate Middleton want to know how the students are coping during this pandemic but the royal tour itself will be in line with William's important role at the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. Queen Elizabeth has appointed her grandson as the Lord High Commissioner of this year's assembly, which will begin on May 27. Middleton will follow her husband in Scotland at the end of May.

In a statement, Kensington Palace said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are looking forward to spending a week in Scotland to hear the sentiments of the people on issues they care about. The couple will be addressed as the Duke and Duchess of Strathearn, their official Scottish titles, during their tour.

William and Middleton will also be visiting various charities and attend the drive-in cinema hosted by the NHS Charities Together. They will be the first to watch Disney's Cruella among the NHS staff and their families.

The Duke and Duchess of Strathearn's royal tour was announced on the 3rd wedding anniversary of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. On the same day, Princess Beatrice also laid bare good news as she is expecting her first child with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Meanwhile, ahead of their visit with the Scots, Middleton stepped out and checked in on one of her favorite galleries at the V & A Museum near Kensington Palace. The Duchess of Cambridge is a patron of the museum, which was forced to close for several months due to the coronavirus risks.

The royal visited the Raphael Court at the V & A Museum, which had undergone a refurbishment to mark the death anniversary of the artist. The duchess was also briefed about the latest digital facilities of the museum to transform the experience of the guests.

Kate Middleton took Art History for her major at St. Andrew's University. She has always been drawn to the arts and has been bringing her kids to museums now that they are old enough to appreciate museum visits as well.
