Anime adaptations in Hollywood have become more apparent these past few years. With the success and fame of animated series and shows, it is not surprising why the film industry in the United States tries to develop a live-action remake.

Comic Book Resources noted, however, that not a single material has become a "commercial hit." Although there are a few productions that met success and received positive reviews, the overall reception remains mixed.

Despite this, the publication asserted that some of the upcoming materials might actually "break the curse." As reported, there are live-action adaptations arriving soon that appear to be "promising."

Cowboy Bebop is on top of the released list. The live-action remake of the anime is, reportedly, a Netflix Original, causing many to have confidence in the upcoming movie.

The filming and shooting already ended in March. Hence, it will likely drop on the streaming platform before 2021 concludes.

Your Name, also, made it to the publication's list of the possibly good live-action anime remakes. It will, however, carry the name Magic Hour instead of the original title.

What makes the material promising is, reportedly, the "amazing team" working on the project. Alongside this, there are speculations that the movie will not be "whitewashed," unlike most adaptations in the past.

The other listed anime shows that will hit Hollywood soon with their live-action versions include The Promised NeverlandGundam, and Attack on Titan. It remains unclear, though, when these remakes will arrive on big screens.

A separate report from Comic Book Resources previously referenced some live-action anime adaptations that they deemed "amazing." It even described these materials as "hidden gems," considering that most remakes and adaptations are, reportedly, "bad."

The titles include Alita: Battle Angel and Death Note (Japan)KakeguruiRurouni Kenshin I and II, and Bleach, also, made into the cut because of their respective fame and success upon premiere.

Meanwhile, Screen Rant released its own list, revealing some of the "worst" live-action films that utilized anime materials as their respective sources. The titles include Fullmetal AlchemistSpeed RacerKiteCity Hunter, and Devilman. The likes of Ghost In ShellGantzDeath Note (Netflix), and Dragon Ball: Evolution appear to have topped the chart for being unpleasant adaptations.

Reports asserted that there are several reasons why live-action anime remakes tend to fail most of the time. As explained, there were times when productions became too "ambitious." There were cases, as well, when the anime is already perfect the way it is, making it, reportedly, unideal to develop a live-action adaptation.
