Bob Odenkirk suffered a "heart-related incident" during filming of "Better Call Saul" Season 6 in New Mexico. He collapsed suddenly on set.

Odenkirk's representatives said in a statement he was in a stable condition and recovering at a hospital.

"We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident," his representatives told The Associated Press. "He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side."

The Odenkirk family thanked everyone for their wishes and asked for some privacy.

When Odenkirk collapsed, crew members called an ambulance. He was taken to an Albuquerque hospital.

His son, Nate, later tweeted his father was "going to be OK."

Fellow "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston asked fans to send good thoughts and prayers to Odenkirk, TMZ reported. "Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning," he said. "My friend, Bob Odenkirk collapsed last night on the set of 'Better Call Saul.'"

Cranston said Odenkirk was receiving medical attention. His condition hasn't been made public by the hospital.

"Please take a moment in your day to think about him and send positive thoughts and prayers his way, thank you," Cranston said.

Odenkirk played Saul Goodman in the hit AMC series "Breaking Bad." He continued playing the character in the prequel "Better Call Saul" - which is now in its sixth and final season.

Odenkirk also did the action-thriller "Nobody." He played the role of a determined man seeking revenge after a break-in at his suburban home.

After this, he told SlashFilm he was willing to do another action film "in a heartbeat." He said he was working on a new project with David Cross, a joint writer and creator of his 1990s comedy sketch "Mr Show" on HBO.

"Better Call Saul" Season 6 will be released next year on AMC.
