Britney Spears wants her allegedly abusive father, Jamie Spears, removed from her conservatorship immediately. The Princess of Pop's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, filed a new motion, requesting a judge to expedite Mr. Spears' removal as his client's conservator of the estate.

Britney and her legal team are now waiting for the court hearing on Sept. 29. Her personal conservator, Jodi Montgomery, also made her own court filing, supporting Rosengart and Britney's request.

In the court documents obtained by People, it said the conservatee asks for the immediate suspension of Jamie as her conservator and the appointment of Jason Rubin as her temporary conservator as they wait for the September hearing. Although the two-month waiting may not be significant in Britney's 13-year conservatorship, she should no longer feel traumatized, furthering her suffering.

It states every day matters for this case and a source close to the issue says the hitmaker is working hard on having Rubin as her conservator. The latter is not only a regular CPA but a forensic investigator CPA.

If approved, the insider reveals Rubin will check all the expenses and money that have been spent during Britney's conservatorship. The singer-songwriter is determined to know if her funds "have been misused."

The new court filing detailed how Jamie has been spending his daughter's money. His counsel already cost the pop diva a whopping $1,356,293 in attorney's fees alone, from October 2020 to June 2021. The conservator also gets a $16,000 salary per month and an additional $2,000 for office expenses-all from her estate.

Meanwhile, Rosengart revealed Jamie disapproved of Britney's vacation in Hawaii. Though he later changed his mind, letting his child have a vacation, his objection only showed the immediate need for his removal from her conservatorship.

Fans know how Britney loves traveling to Hawaii. In fact, in her post while on a trip to Maui, she said she liked the ocean's sound at night and to hear people's laugh from her balcony.

Anyhow, Jamie saw the short vacation "unnecessary." This dispute resulted in another "understandable anguish" to Britney, making her more eager to replace her dad in her conservatorship.

If the 39-year-old star's request to remove her father as her conservator will be finally granted, she will begin to have a "semblance of her life back." Jamie is yet to give any response to the multiple requests for comment about the new court filing. His attorney is also yet to provide any statement.
