Fans will soon see the animated version of War for Wano and the introduction of a very important character. In "One Piece" Episode 990, viewers are about to officially meet Kaido's son, Yamato, on the small screen.
Yamato is about to make her debut in "One Piece" Episode 990 and even its title, "Thunder Baguia! The Appearance of Kaido's Son," even teased so. To complete her appearance, the franchise has also added a new voice actor for the character.
According to Comicbook, the franchise's official Twitter handle announced the coming of Saori Hayami as the new "One Piece" cast member. She would be the voice of the energetic fighter, and fans would start hearing her in the next episode.
Yamato is one of the most interesting characters that will lead the War for Wano. With her connection to Kaido and her aspiration to be Kozuki Oden, fans are about to witness an all-out war.
The Straw Hat Pirates will do everything to take Kaido down, along with his Beast Pirates. From here, Luffy and his crew will get the help of an unexpected ally-Yamato-in "One Piece" Episode 990.
Yamato wants to free the Wano borders and give justice to Oden. If this happens, she will inherit Oden's name and join Luffy and his crew as the final Straw Hat Pirates member.
With similar abilities like her father, like the ability to transform, it will be an interesting sight to see if Yamato can take Kaido down. It is also possible that Luffy will have a rematch against the Beast Pirates captain that will bring him one step closer to become the Pirate King.
Meanwhile, in "One Piece" Episode 989, Big Mom woke up after eating Chopper's candy bomb, OtakuKart News noted. She asked Chopper and Ussop if they thought she could die easily and the two just started to run.
Big Mom ran after them while Denjiro saw Sasaki opened the door and hid with his crew. He, then, told Kinemon that he had a place and went on his way to confront Sasaki.
Sasaki saw Kanjuro and invited him for a drink. Denjiro took Sasaki somewhere and cuffed him with prison stones.
From here, Sasaki realized Kanjuro betrayed him. Elsewhere, the fight between Luffy and the Beast Pirates continued.
Here, he decided to use his new technique; the Wano Haki called Ryou. He started to punish Kaido's men when Ulti and Page One appeared behind him and a battle between the three would begin.
Fans are about to see these and more when "One Piece" Episode 990 drops on Sunday, Sept. 5.
