Fans finally received a major update about "Demon Slayer" Season 2 and it came with a big bonus. Aside from the anime's second season, there would be a new anime series that would be all about the "Mugen Train."

As if the mega-success of "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" is not enough, the franchise makes the "Mugen Train" anime series. By the looks of it, it will delve deeper into the film that will connect its arc to "Demon Slayer" Season2.

IGN reported the anime series would feature an all-new seven episodes that will perfectly link the "Tanjiro Kamado" Unwavering Arc with the Entertainment District Arc. Epic Dope added it would show the life and death of Rengoku in "eye-bleeding detail."

The franchise has already started to hype "Mugen Train" by dropping a new visual, showing how it has dramatically improved its art style. Though the original film's poster is every inch stunning, it cannot be denied that the image for the new anime series is even more remarkable.

It shows Rengoku in the front and center, along with Tanjiro and the rest of the gang. Here, fans are about to see how the former Flame Hashira prepares for this new mission.

It will also highlight how he travels to the train and its emotional end that may make fans more emotional. "Mugen Train" will also feature 70 new animation cuts and new background music from LiSa, who will provide the opening, "AKeboshi," and ending, "Shirogane," themes.

There will also be more fresh trailers coming to tease fans more. Meanwhile, talking about the much-awaited "Demon Slayer" Season 2, the franchise has finally unveiled its official release date.

It will have an hour-long premiere to make it with fans, who have waited for more than two years. In addition, there will also be a new "Demon Slayer" fighting game that will be out on Oct. 15, made by CyberConnect 2, per Forbes.

It boasts of an animation that is faithful to the original series and it can be played on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. It comes at a price of $60.

Finally, the long wait will be over as "Demon Slayer" Season 2 will drop on Sunday, Dec. 5. On the other hand, "Mugen Train" will be out on Oct. 10 on Funimation and Crunchyroll, while "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" movie will hit the shelves on BluRay with standard and limited editions, starting on Dec. 21.
