An Indonesian man who posted photos of his wedding to his rice cooker - yes, the household appliance that makes cooking rice easier - has gone viral. The man posted several photos of him dressed in white wedding attire, while his "wife" wore just a wedding veil.
The photos showed then in different stages of the wedding. In one picture, the man, named Khoirul Anam, is seen signing wedding papers to legalize the wedding. In another picture, Anam is seen kissing his new bride.
Anam captioned one of the photos describing his bride as "White, quiet, good at cooking, very dreamy."

Anam's posts immediately caught the attention of the public and the internet. The photos made headlines in Indonesia and in other parts of the world. The photos also went viral on Twitter and Facebook, garnering hundreds of thousands of likes, shares, and comments. On Twitter, the original post already gained more than 13,500 retweets within just hours after it was published.
The post also got some very funny and colorful comments. Some users commented on how they would also be willing to marry some inanimate objects. One user said he has also been thinking about marrying his air fryer. Other users commented on the "genius" of Anam's post.
Just days after Anam posted his wedding pics to his rice cooker bride, he then followed it up with an update. The dreamy wedding was unfortunately short-lived as Anam announced that he was divorcing his "wife." In a post on Facebook, Anam said that his wife was only really good at one thing and that was cooking rice. He said his wife didn't know how to make any other dishes.
Anam is well-known for creating humorous content on social media, so it goes without saying that the entire wedding and divorce were only just a joke. Still, the photos were hilarious and it likely brightened up a lot of people's day.
