BLINKs are now demanding a public apology from a Thai publication after it dragged BLACKPINK's Jennie's name in an article about Lisa. The media outlet tweeted a link of its article, tagging the names of the "LALISA" hitmaker and Jennie.

As some did not see the need to mention Jennie's name, they started to ask its purpose. So, what does the 25-year-old singer have to do with this issue?

Thai Enquirer's article was about BVLGARI CEO's revelation that Lisa would not participate at the brand's fashion show despite being in Paris. Jean-Christophe Babin revealed her agency, YG Entertainment, stopped her from attending any events or shows, using the COVID-19 pandemic as its reason, AllKpop noted.

Fans started to get angry upon hearing the news. They felt like the music label was unfairly limiting the Thai rapper's activities, though her other fellow BLACKPINK members could attend their brands' fashion week events.

They started to demand a proper explanation from YG about the issue, using the hashtag #YGTalkToUs and making it trended. However, the company was yet to address the matter.

With big news like this, different media outlets covered the news, including the Thai Enquirer. However, it seemed to have dragged Jennie to the problem.

BLINKS began to question the publication about the use of Jennie's name and stressed that it might have misused the hashtag. But instead of correcting the tweet, the company's K-pop correspondent gave a "sarcastic" message instead.

"Jennie Kim is being oppressed by Thai Enquirer!" it read, using the another hashtag #ApologizeToJennie. "Make them apologize!!"

The employee made another tweet, saying the editors would only issue a public apology if they managed to have 100,000 followers that day. By the looks of it, it only used the mistake to gain more followers, making fans angrier.

So, fans could not help but reveal their sentiments about the issue, saying the editor in chief's mindset was very low and protect Jennie from Thai media, per MEAWW. Another one stressed that Jennie had nothing to do about Lisa's problem but YG, so they should stop hating other BLACKPINK members.

Meanwhile, YG has been under fire for, allegedly, mistreating Lisa for the past few years. For example, some noticed her solo debut almost had no promotions.

Though it had, it was only short-lived, lasting for just 10 days. It was also slammed for an alleged cultural appropriation as its stylists used box braids, while the music producers used AAVE for the B-side song "Money." Sure, it tried to fix things out by announcing Lisa would be joining her fellow BLACKPINK members Rosé, Jisoo and Jennie at Paris Fashion Week, but that only backfired as it did not happen.
