The rumors about Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi continue and this time, there are claims they will be breaking up for the nth time. They are, allegedly, on the verge of divorce over different career pursuits.

OK! Magazine claimed de Rossi and DeGeneres disagree about the future when The Ellen DeGeneres Show ends. Sure, the host may have planned everything out, but it looks like her spouse has no plans to stay in her shadows anymore.

An alleged source revealed the 63-year-old producer had mapped out everything from trips to fundraising events to have more real estate deals, but her wife might not be interested at all. The actress is, allegedly, done "staying in the shadows."

Their alleged friends said they might be heading to another "rough patch" because of this. The insider, alternatively, asserted the comedian had always "pulled the strings" in their romance.

The tipster continued that DeGeneres had steered de Rossi away from acting and now, the latter was finally standing for herself. This time, the legendary talk show host has to do something right.

For starters, de Rossi had left the acting business in 2018, except if there would be new seasons of "Arrested Development." She said on Ellen that she already knew what acting would be like for her in 10 or 20 years, so she decided to officially retire, Global News noted.

With that said, Gossip Cop claimed that DeGeneres had nothing to do with de Rossi's decision to quit the entertainment business. In fact, they were both working in the same field as a host and an actress when they started dating.

De Rossi even had a number of projects back then before she decided to retire. So, she was never out of work or anything to do.

She just wanted to put her sole attention on her philanthropic works. Despite the many rumors about their romance, they are evidently staying happily married.

So, to prove that the couple is on very good terms, they joined Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble at the 2021 People's Choice Awards at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on Tuesday, Dec. 7, and they were all smiles.

DeGeneres won the fan-voted award for the daytime talk show of the year during the event, per People. In addition, the pair celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary in August and DeGeneres honored de Rossi with a sweet social media post. "I'm the luckiest girl in the world because I get to share my life with you," she captioned the photo of their selfie.
