Lee Hak-joo is now gaining traction after the success of the Netflix series "My Name." As many seem intrigued with his height, it looks like he just appears taller than he really is on the small screen.

Lee Hak-joo graced "Point of Omniscient Interfere" and gave his fans a glimpse of his daily life away from the cameras. At the time, he donned a three-piece suit that showed his charismatic visuals, which the hosts commended.

His perfect visual captivated everyone's attention and, of course, they could not help but notice how tall he was. However, they were shocked when they learned that he was not as tall as he looked.

The MCs guessed that he was about 180 cm tall or 5'11", but Jun Hyun-moo contradicted. He said the actor was just 173.5 cm or 5'8" tall. He even compared his height to the Netflix star to show the difference.

So, when the two stood next to each other, the audience were surprised to see that Lee Hak-joo was only a few centimeters taller than Jun Hyun-moo. So, what made him look so tall?

AllKpop noted it was his long legs. His hip was much higher than Jun Hyun-moo, which made him look bigger.

As soon as the netizens heard the news, they could not help but share their reactions in online communities. One fan said he had good body proportions. Another chimed in that he had super long legs and a small face that helped him look bigger.

Meanwhile, Lee Hak-joo started to gain attention when he played the role of Jeong Tae-joo in "My Name." He was a member of the group that supported Choi Moo-jin, per Korea Dispatch.

Since joining the Netflix series, he said on "Park Ha-sin's Cinetown" that he had been receiving a lot of calls from his acquaintances. He also started to search for his name online and was surprised by the result.

The 32-year-old star revealed he managed to join the show through an audition. At the time, there were available scripts for the roles of Jeong Tae-joo, Jeon Pil-do, and Do Kang-jae.

He was, then, asked to pick the role that he wanted to portray and he chose Jeong Tae-joo. Although he found it hard to get close to his co-actors, he went under training for about two months at the action school that made him close to others. Now, Lee Hak-joo commended that Han So-hee's had "a very good" stamina.
