Brad Pitt has had a busy year as he prepares for his new projects. While he continues to achieve new milestones in his career, he is said to be struggling.

But, sources told Us Weekly that he is "doing his best to keep his head above water." In fact, he is reportedly doing lots of "soul-searching" these days for his own improvement.

Insiders noted that while he hates the single life, and would love to date someone new, he is "scared to commit." The actor is said to acknowledge his past mistakes, but all he can do now is "move forward" and not beat himself up for the things that are out of his control.

Brad Pitt, also, allegedly has regrets about his past, especially his behavior during his respective marriages to Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. Although he now shares good links with the "Friends" star, the case is not the same with the "Eternals" actress.

As noted, Aniston is not holding any grudge toward her former husband. However, Jolie and Pitt reportedly have "zero warmth and respect" for one another.

Nevertheless, the "Ad Astra" actor is said to be hoping that one day, they will find a way to forgive each other. The source said that he wants him and the mother of his children to move forward "for the kids' sake, at least."

For now, though, Brad Pitt plans to focus on being a good father, on his sobriety, and his career. Insiders added that he wants to take things one day at a time, and enjoy his time with his kids, as much as he can.

Meanwhile, the "Moneyball" star appears to have expanded his career, in terms of the industry. As it happened, he now has entered the world of music upon reopening Miraval Studios.

Pitt has teamed up with producer Damien Quintard for the new venture. The latter stated that he "immediately clicked" with the Hollywood actor when they met in Paris, according to E! Online.

As for his acting career, Screen Rant previously listed all the films he has been working on in the last few months. While he did not star in any movies throughout 2021, he has three titles that will arrive in 2022.

Lost City of D, which stars Sandra Bullock, will hit the screens on April 15. Pitt will make a cameo appearance on the material after the actress reportedly reached out to him in person.

Bullet Train will, also, premiere sometime in 2022. As for Babylon, the movie is still reportedly in pre-production. But, it will drop on theaters for a limited release during the next year's Christmas season.
