Fans have long known about the "crush" Emma Watson had on Tom Felton. Recently, though, reports seemingly claimed that there is more to the story.
Star said that the "Harry Potter" actress admitted to having a "terrible crush" on her co-star between the age of 10 and 12. She went to the extent that she would go to work in the morning and check the call sheet to see whether Felton was coming in on the set, as well.
The now-31-year-old celebrity, also, reportedly revealed that it was Felton's age, alongside his skateboard, that "did it." This caused the tabloid to assert that the now-34-year-old actor was just like his character in the "Harry Potter" film series, "a bit of a bad boy."
Unfortunately, though, Tom Felton did not return the feelings toward Emma Watson. The actress, in turn, allegedly shared that it broke her heart, and "it still does."
The "Little Women" actress, indeed, confessed to having a crush on "The Forgotten Battle" actor. Likewise, Felton admitted to having a screen crush but not on Watson, as his was on Helena Bonham Carter.
However, these revelations all emerged in 2011. Moreover, the "Beauty and the Beast" lead has since maintained her silence about the matter.
Even so, Emma Watson and Tom Felton have continued to face dating rumors. This is, also, despite the two celebrities' repeated clarifications that they share a good friendship, and laugh about the old times.
Earlier in June, though, Felton shared some of his thoughts about the matter. When he was asked again regarding his relationship with his co-star, he said that they are "something, if that makes any sense," according to E! Online.
He, also, noted, that he "adores" the actress, adding that she is "fantastic." But, as for the romantic aspect, he pointed out that it is more of a "Slytherin-Gryffindor thing rather than a Tom and Emma thing."
Meanwhile, Emma Watson and Tom Felton have always been private about their respective relationships. Amid all dating rumors that have followed them through the years, they were both in a relationship with others.
The "Ophelia" actor dated Jade Olivia Gordon from 2008 to 2016. It remains unclear, though, as to when exactly or why they broke up.
As for the "This Is The End" actress, she is said to be dating businessman Leo Robinton. Sources claimed that the relationship began in 2019, but the pair has yet to confirm the matter.
