Everyone's attention is now with the former Lovelyz member Lee Mi-joo. The 27-year-old star has changed significant information on her public profile, which surprises everyone.
Lee Mi-joo has now signed with Antenna Music after living Woollim Entertainment. As she recently graced SBS Power FM's "Two O'clock Escape Cultwo Show," DJ Kim Tae-gyun noticed the change in her public profile.
The singer appeared as a special DJ on the show and the comedian host commended the continuation of her activities, AllKpop noted. He, then, noticed the change in her profile information, which MC Kim Tae-gyun also saw.
By the looks of it, she already replaced her group and put MBC's "Hang Out with Yoo" project group, Toyote, onto it. Lee Mi-joo did not deny the claim and revealed that Toyote members, Yoo Jae-suk and Haha, treated her very well.
She said she was the youngest among the two and felt lucky that she now belonged with them. She even told the hosts that if they would invite them on "Cultwo Show," they would gladly appear and make the first performance of their new song on it.
Lee Mi-joo debuted in 2014 with the girl group Lovelyz under Woollim Entertainment. She used to have the name of this South Korean band on her profile until they disbanded after their contracts expired.
Now, she is part of Toyote, a project group born on "Hang Out with Yoo." She is currently working with Yoo Jae-suk and Haha and they recently released the new song "Still I Love You."
Indeed, Lee Mi-joo now has a fresh start. Antenna Music unveiled her new profile pictures earlier this month and captioned them with "New 2021 profile Lee Mi-joo," per Soompi.
In the snaps, fans could see a different Lee Mi-joo, her side that was not yet seen. Compared to her image as a girl group member when she was still with Lovelyz, her current look is now bolder.
She, too, has been displaying her quirky character as she graces different variety shows. Though she used to be known as a singer, dancer and entertainment, her newfound fame on variety programs means she is now Antenna Music's second "variety star, following Yoo Jae-suk, who also signed with the company earlier this year.
Antenna Music used to work with indie musicians before Lee Mi-joo and Yoo Jae-suk joined the agency. It looks like fans have a lot of projects to wait from their favorite female K-pop idol.
