Recent Highlights noted the new chapter would begin at the support department's door. Midoriya and Ida go here to have their gears repaired, but the place's condition surprises the two.

The support department is not only in charge of making instruments this time. It is also now handling the planning and executing of the evacuation plan in a time of need.

Hatsume has thought of adding the new evacuation system to the support department and putting it into action. She says the support department is the heroes' supporting hand on the battlefield as they develop new inventions to save people in need.

Hatsume first refuses to help Midoriya and Ida but still creates gears that can be good replacements of their original equipment in "My Hero Academia" Chapter 339. The scene then shifts to the U.A. Academy's front gate, where Class 1A prepares to leave and start a new support mission for the citizens with Mountain Lady.

The manga then features the Kansai region, where the senior and professional heroes rescue and help people after a villain's attack. Back in the U.A. Academy, All Might and other heroes talk about their strategy for the upcoming all-out war against the villains.

Meanwhile, in "My Hero Academia" Chapter 338, Tsukauchi started to investigate Aoyama and his parents to know more about All for One, per Anime Troop. They were taking necessary precautions in case he had explosives like Lady Nagant.

It was later revealed that Aoyama and his parents could only reach AFO when the villain wanted to talk to them. Deku, then, suggested they needed Aoyama to find AFO.

From here, the Class 1A students began revealing how Aoyama regretted his wrongdoing and should be given a second chance to prove himself. Aizawa asked Deku if he had a plan, but he refused to say anything.

What happens from here can be seen when "My Hero Academia" Chapter 339 drops on Monday, Jan. 3.
